TOBY DIXON

Toby is a Sydney based photographer and director who’s best known for his striking portraits of life’s unconventional characters and ability to capture beauty in unexpected places.

After winning a few industry accolades in his first year of turning pro in 2006, many doors opened to some of the nation’s best ad agencies and since then he hasn’t turned back. Toby’s ability to get to the crux of a commercial brief and relentless passion towards making the best of every assignment have made him a sought after image-maker in Australia and Asia.

To satisfy a hunger for storytelling with the moving image, he recently joined a directing duo named Stampede with his long time friend, Alex Feggans, who’s core mission is to create integrated print and TVC brand content with seamless continuity.

When not on assignment he enjoys spending time with his wife while chasing his two sons on Sydney’s Coogee Beach, working on his perma-tan and trademark designer beard.

Где есть сила там же где- то рядом находиться и страх. Не может существовать одновалентной среды, ,.может я и зря постулирую, но мне так кажется что я удачно, подвел под мои рассуждения

WALKING INTO THE WOODS. Still searching for new lights and new ambients. For these shots I chose the silence of a pine forest, the last light of the day, the elegance of a long dress of the same color of the leaves of trees. And a simple, natural face. Natural as the light that I caught in these pictures, making it mine, forever. I love to work letting nature to inspire me. The shadows between trees, the glimpses of light between the leaves, these are the atmospheres I’m looking for: addictive , deep, sometimes mysterious.
